9/15/05 - The EDGE Magazine has included The Addictions on a CD Compilation. A CD release party is coming in November.

5/23/05 - Candy has been listed as the featured download on the homepage of IC-MusicMedia. The listing also includes a bio, press, email link, and lyrics.


5/23/05 - Unsigned, a music channel on XMRadio, has listed The Addictions in its R>A>D>A>R Report. We are in the section titled The Futures. "Listen for the 12 most notable artists in the United States, we call them The Futures, artists to look for in your future as they're gaining momentum every day."


5/9/05 - Pirate Radio, a feature of Preying Lizard Music, has The Addictions' Candy listed as the #2 most requested track among the Top 10 Requested Bands. You can read Preying Lizard's review of the CD from January of '05 on the Press page.


4/19/05 - The Addictions are featured on AustinsWB.com in the WB Buzz MP3s. The page includes the band bio plus audio (for stream or download) of the track, Candy.


4/18/05 - We are very happy to announce that The Addictions have picked up their 1st product endorsement. J. D'Addario and Company have eight generations of string making expertise behind them, and we are honored and privileged to use their superb products.

4/15/05 - The Addictions are featured on the homepage of the German music site, Callasong (at www.callasong.de). The page includes the band bio, press reviews, audio of Candy (with lyrics), and viewers can write their own reviews. - Plus some other stuff in German that we couldn't make any sense of.


4/11/05 - We'd like to thank Brian Kendall from KISS 99.5 FM in San Antonio for playing The Addictions on the weekly show TX Tracks. If you live in San Antonio, log on to the site and ask to hear more every Monday night at midnight.


3/6/05 - The Addictions were joined onstage by John Popper of Blues Traveler at the halftime show of the March 6th Lonestar Rollergirls bout. The acclaimed recording artist approached the side of the stage, with his box of harmonicas and requested to join the band for a song. To the excitement of the sold-out crowd, Mr. Popper wailed away as the band did an extended version of their track, "Jaded". Only in Austin, TX.
